Four Dick Tracy Features on two DVDs!
Dick Tracy, Detective: Morgan Conway made the first of two appearances as the famed crimefighter in this 1945 effort, in which Tracy must discover the link between a series of murders before the killer strikes again. Out Of The Past femme fatale Jane Greer made her screen debut here, as Judith Owens.
The following year saw Conway featured in Dick Tracy vs. Cueball, where Tracy must rescue his true love Tess from an evil mastermind, when she is kidnapped during a sting operation gone awry.
1947 not only brought two Dick Tracy features to the screen, but saw the return of 1930s Tracy serial star Ralph Byrd to the role. In May, Dick Tracy’s Dilemma saw Tracy battling an evil fiend known as The Claw. Six months later, Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome brought screen legend Boris Karloff in as Tracy’s most abominable villian yet.
